1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your membership and participation in Ambleside Junior Football Club ("the Club"). By registering your child as a member, you agree to comply with these terms.

2. Membership

Membership is open to children aged 4 and above, subject to availability and appropriate age group placement. All members must be registered with the Club and provide accurate contact and medical information.

3. Fees and Payments

Membership fees are outlined in our Subscription & Fees Guide. Payment must be made via Standing Order for season ticket holders. Trial sessions are offered free of charge for Cubs and Little Lionesses programmes. CP Football is entirely free of charge.

Fees are non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the Club Committee.

4. Code of Conduct

All players, parents, and spectators must adhere to the Club's Code of Conduct. This includes:

  • Respecting coaches, referees, opponents, and fellow club members
  • Promoting fair play and sportsmanship
  • Avoiding abusive, discriminatory, or inappropriate behaviour
  • Following venue rules and regulations

Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct may result in suspension or termination of membership.

5. Safeguarding

The Club is committed to safeguarding the welfare of all children. All coaches and volunteers undergo DBS checks and safeguarding training. Parents must report any safeguarding concerns to the Club Welfare Officer immediately.

6. Health and Safety

Parents must inform the Club of any medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements their child may have. Players must wear appropriate kit, including shin pads, during all training and match sessions.

The Club maintains public liability insurance, but parents are responsible for ensuring their child has appropriate personal accident insurance if desired.

7. Photography and Media

The Club may take photographs and videos during training sessions and matches for promotional purposes. Parents who do not wish their child to be photographed must inform the Club in writing.

8. Cancellations and Weather

The Club reserves the right to cancel training sessions or matches due to adverse weather, pitch conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances. Where possible, advance notice will be provided via email or social media.

9. Liability

Whilst the Club takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of participants, football is a physical sport and injuries may occur. The Club accepts no liability for injuries sustained during Club activities except where caused by negligence.

10. Data Protection

The Club processes personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.
